Bourd now supports Google AI Overviews as its own engine on prompt runs and schedules. Run prompts against the AI-generated summary that appears above Google’s regular search results.
New engine
- Google AI Overviews. Google’s AI-generated summary at the top of standard search results. Different from AI Mode and from the Gemini engine: AI Overviews reflects what users actually see in regular Google Search, including Google’s own grounding, retrieval, and citation behavior.
Why this matters
A growing share of Google searches now lead with an AI Overview before the first blue link. The summary text and the sources Google cites are part of the brand surface, and they’re not the same as what AI Mode or the Gemini API return. Tracking AI Overviews separately is the only way to see what users see by default on Google.
Pricing
AI Overviews queries are billed at 25 to 50 credits each, depending on the response. On a 75,000-credit plan, that’s roughly 1,500 to 3,000 AI Overviews responses per month, or 375 to 750 prompts tracked weekly. Like AI Mode, AI Overviews is one of the cheapest engines on Bourd to run at scale.
How to use
Select the Google AI Overviews engine on any prompt run or schedule. AI Overviews works with existing features, including response analytics and citation tracking.
