Viewing Results and Analytics

The Reports dashboard provides a high-level, aggregated view of your AI search visibility over time. It is designed for analyzing trends, measuring performance against key metrics, and understanding your competitive position at a glance.

This guide explains how to use the dashboard and interpret the data it presents.

To access the dashboard, navigate to the Reports section from the main navigation menu.

The dashboard is composed of three main components: the date range filter, key performance indicator (KPI) cards, and trend charts.

The date range filter at the top of the page allows you to scope all dashboard data to a specific time period.

  • Presets: You can select from predefined ranges such as “Last 7 days,” “Last 30 days,” or “Month to date.”
  • Custom Range: You can also define a specific start and end date for your analysis.
  • Comparison Period: The filter also displays the percentage change for each metric compared to the preceding period. For example, if you select “Last 30 days,” the metrics will be compared against the 30 days prior to that period.

The KPI cards at the top of the dashboard provide a summary of your most important metrics for the selected date range.

  • Responses Analyzed: The total number of individual AI model responses that have been processed and analyzed in the selected period. This metric represents the volume of your data set.
  • Mention Rate: The percentage of total analyzed responses that contain a mention of your primary brand. It is calculated as (Number of responses mentioning your brand / Total responses analyzed) * 100. This metric measures your brand’s overall visibility.
  • Share of Voice (SoV): The percentage of all brand mentions (including your brand and all configured competitors) that are for your primary brand. It is calculated as (Your brand mentions / Total mentions of all tracked brands) * 100. This is a critical metric for measuring your competitive position.
  • Citations Tracked: The total number of unique source URLs cited by AI models in the analyzed responses. This metric indicates the size of the content ecosystem influencing AI responses.

The trend charts visualize how your key metrics have changed over the selected date range.

  • Share of Voice Trend: Tracks your Share of Voice (SoV) over time, allowing you to see if your competitive standing is improving or declining.
  • Mention Rate Trend: Visualizes changes in your brand’s mention rate, indicating fluctuations in your overall visibility.
  • Average Rank Trend: Shows the average rank (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 3rd) of your brand when it is mentioned. A lower number is better and indicates a stronger position.
  • Citations Trend: Tracks the number of citations over time, helping you gauge the impact of your content and PR efforts.
  • An increasing Share of Voice is a strong positive signal, indicating that your brand’s visibility is growing relative to your competitors.
  • A high Mention Rate but a low Share of Voice suggests that while your brand is visible, the market is crowded, and competitors are mentioned just as, or more, frequently.
  • A declining Average Rank (e.g., from 2.5 to 1.8) is a positive trend, showing that your brand is moving into a more prominent position within AI responses.
  • An increase in Citations from your own domain indicates that your content strategy is successfully positioning your website as an authoritative source for AI models.
  • Required Role: Admin, Owner, or Member.
  • All users within a workspace can view the Reports dashboard. Access is read-only.
  • No Data Showing: If the dashboard is empty, it is likely because no analysis runs have been completed within the selected date range. Ensure you have run an analysis and that the date filter is set correctly.
  • Metrics Seem Incorrect: The accuracy of metrics like Share of Voice depends on the correct configuration of your * *brand and competitors**. Verify that all brand names are spelled correctly and that your competitor list is comprehensive.
